OYOGist.com has learned that a young farmer, Abiola Oyadiran, has commenced the distribution of yam tubers harvested from his farm in Ogbomoso to the people as part of palliative measures to cushion the economic effect of the stay-at-home order due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Oyediran said the decision is part of an effort to make people stay safe and healthy by eating better food in this trying time, adding that the distribution of the farm produce will not in any way break the laid down rules of social distance by both the federal and state governments.

Oyadiran, who is the Chief of Staff to a Federal Lawmaker, Hon Jacob Ajao, said the yam will be distributed to the most vulnerable individual in the City, irrespective of political affiliations.
