ASUU set for another indefinite strike

OYOGist.com has learned that following the call by the Honorable Minister of Education to tertiary institutions to recommence their aborted academic sessions as a result of the pandemic online, ASUU wishes to appraise Nigerians of the challenges involved in the implementation of the Ministerial directive.

The Minister needs to understand that E-learning is not the same as computer vending and supplies. It is not as simple as computerization, supplying of computers and accessories, or simply connecting institutions to the internet.

He said that the federal government has not met their demands and that the Federal Government are not paying attention to them. According to him: “We are going for indefinite strike even After the COVID-19 pandemic”. He also apoloqized to students and told them to stay at home but also to stay safe.
