OYOGist.com has learned that a Bauchi House of Representative, Mansur Soro asked his colleagues in the chambers to sacrifice their March salaries & Allowances to contribute N1million each.
He said this when plenary was on today,”I wish to humbly call on my Honorable colleagues, the members of the House of Representatives; let’s sacrifice our March 2020 salaries and allowances to contribute N1million each to procure ventilators.
Mathematically, N1 million of 360 members is equal to N360 million/N9.5 million (average cost per ventilator) equal 37 ventilators. The ventilators when procured can be distributed to public hospitals in the 36 states and FCT”.

If such can happen I will give them the kudos for sacrifice for the fatherland and also for those that elected them. I just hope they don’t reneged this by making their contributions toward this Pandemic rampaging us in the country and the rest of the world.
