The two US Democratic political candidates, former Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Bernie Sanders have both pledge to appoint female Vice Presidents if they win the Democratic ticket, OYOGist.com has learned.
The two leading contenders for the office of the President of The United States of America made this known to their audience during a live Democratic Party Debate on Sunday which was aired by CNN.

If either candidate live up to their words and do indeed pick female running mates, if they win the 2020 US Presidential elections, the world would be witnessing the first female US Vice President.
This, however, isn’t the first time a female has been a Presidential running mate in a US political race before.
