A new report from Chinese news outlet Xinhuanet.com has revealed that some thirty-six thousand and more Chinese patients that were initially infected with the virus have been discharged after being cleared of the disease.
On Friday, February 28, 2020, a hospital in Xinhua discharged a total of 36,117 patients that were infected with the deadly and viral coronavirus after screening revealed that the virus is no longer in their system.
Health authorities in China said their recovery was confirmed on Thursday.
According to the National Health Commission’s daily report, 3,622 people were discharged from the hospital on Thursday after recovering.
And the total confirmed case of the COVID-19 reported in China mainland had reached 78,824 as of Thursday and 2,788 people had already died of the disease.
