Nipsey Hussle and Kobe Bryant have been honored at the 62nd Grammy Awards with an homage by the Recording Academy.

American rapper and activist, Nipsey Hussle was assassinated on the 31st of March, 2019 in Los Angeles, California.

Nipsey Hussle received a posthumous Grammy Award in the 62nd Grammys of 2020. It was his first Grammy win.

Kobe Bryant, NBA star and legendary basketball player of the Lakers, died in a helicopter crash on Sunday 26 January.

The crash took his life and that of his 13 year old daughter, Gianna, alongside 7 others.

DJ Khaleed, Meek Mill and other artists who performed at the Grammy Awards Show, honored both men at the 62nd Grammy Awards with moving tributes to the slain while they thrilled audiences at the award show.
