The wildfires that have been burning in Australia for over a month now has continued to draw attention and support from corners of the world.

On Sunday, 13 January 2020, the current world’s richest man and founder of online shopping site Amazon has pledged to donate “1 million AU dollars in needed provisions and services” towards efforts to put out the fires.

It is worthy to note that this donation is not coming from Jeff Bezos himself, as the contribution would be made by his company, Amazon. It is still unclear if Jeff himself intends to make any personal donations towards the campaign.

Jeff Bezos made the announcement on his Instagram account on Sunday. See the post he shared on Instagram to make the announcement below.

Recall, we brought you the story of an American 18+ model who raised $750,000 after pledging to send her nudes to anyone who donates $10 and above towards any charity that’s supporting to put an end to the wildfires in Australia.
